It's a strongest continuous hand stitch. If it's done
correctly it looks like machine stitch. In some cases you can better detail your work by
applying it to the contour of the design.
Make first stitch bringing
needle through canvas way back of the stitch length, then bring
needle upfront making space for the next stitch. Take needle back over the
space and bring it again up making space for the next stitch.
